What is the new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirement?
Commencing January 1, 2011, lawyers and paralegals must
complete in each calendar year at least 12 hours of continuing professional
development in eligible educational activities. No less than 3 of
the 12 hours must be on topics related to professional responsibility,
ethics and practice management.
